Accounts Senior Job Opportunity

We are partnering with a reputable independent chartered accountancy practice in Hove to find an exceptional Accounts Senior. The client values its positive team environment and is seeking a qualified professional to join their team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality services to a range of personal tax and business clients across various areas of practice work.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Prepare and review sole trader accounts, personal tax returns, company accounts, and corporation tax returns.
  • Provide VAT advice and compliance services.
  • Maintain a high technical and professional standard through ongoing training and access to CPD programs.
  • Develop and coach junior staff to enhance their knowledge and skills.
  • Opportunity to develop expertise in key areas such as Xero and other Cloud-based systems.
  • Participate in wider practice activities as required.
  • Communicate effectively with the team on any issues or findings.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of post-AAT qualified experience or ACA/ACCA qualification.
  • Experience in accounts preparation in an accountancy practice.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving skills with an investigative nature.
  • IT literacy and proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
