Paediatric Dietitian for Complex Needs

We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Dietitian to join our team at Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Dietitian for Children with Disabilities, you will be responsible for providing expert care and developing new ways of working to improve the lives of children with complex needs.
The successful candidate will have a clinical role in community clinics, home visits, child development centres, and special schools, working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive service. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a supportive team environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide highly specialist clinical assessment and ongoing dietetic management of children with complex disabilities, life-limiting conditions, and challenging behaviours.
- Develop and implement evidence-based care plans to improve the nutritional health and well-being of children with complex needs.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive service, including clinics, home visits, and community outreach.
- Raise nutritional awareness and promote the benefits of Paediatric Dietetic services within the organisation and the wider community.
