We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Tramper Relief Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and delivering customers' products on a curtain-sided trailer, ensuring load security using ratchet straps. This role involves delivering loads throughout the UK, both full and groupage loads, using a handheld PDA to complete paperwork. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong geographical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and deliver customers' products on a curtain-sided trailer
  • Ensure load security using ratchet straps
  • Deliver loads throughout the UK, both full and groupage loads
  • Use a handheld PDA to complete paperwork
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Have a strong geographical knowledge
Requirements:
  • Must have a UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
  • Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous
  • Be passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Working to deadlines
  • Confident, polite, and a team player
  • Good geographical knowledge
