Pastry Production Manager

Apex Hotels Ltd is looking for an experienced Pastry Production Manager to join their team in Edinburgh. As a key member of the Kitchen Team, you will be responsible for the operation of the entire Pastry station, preparing items for Restaurant and Events that have requested specific pastry requirements.

Your key duties will include:

  • Collaborating with the Head Chef/Senior Sous Chef to ensure the correct preparation of pastry.
  • Producing high-quality pastry and desserts for the Restaurant, Function Rooms and Room Service.
  • Optimising performance standards to maximise food sales.
  • Supporting the team in other areas of the kitchen.
  • Ensuring the implementation of health and safety procedures and compliance with hygiene regulations.
  • Developing menus, ordering supplies and assisting with staff development within the team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a leading hotel group with a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate must possess excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, self-motivation and teamwork abilities, along with strong communication and organisational skills.
