Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Teaching Assistant or Senior Learning Support Assistant to support students aged 5-18 with EHCPs at Brook Street, an Outstanding School in Somerset.

This role involves planning and preparing activities for students, supporting lessons, and facilitating access to education. You will work closely with teachers and other staff members to create a supportive environment that helps students meet their full potential.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare activities for students to promote learning and development.
  • Support teachers in delivering lessons and provide additional educational support as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to ensure students receive a high-quality education.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Patient and empathetic approach.
  • Full UK driving licence.
