Vacancy for Marketing and Communications Specialist at Digital Curation Centre

The Digital Preservation Coalition is seeking a skilled Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing internal and external communications processes, maintaining information in related systems, and contributing to the development of the DCC's website.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote the DCC's mission and goals.
  2. Manage the maintenance of the DCC's website, ensuring it is up-to-date and accurate.
  3. Contribute to the DCC and DMPonline helpdesk, providing excellent customer service and support.
  4. Work on event and administrative functions on the DCC's DMPonline service, including coordinating logistics and ensuring smooth event execution.
  5. Collaborate with the DCC Events Lead and Events Specialist to deliver successful events, including the Directorate's International Digital Curation Conference.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
  7. Utilize digital analytics and measurement tools to track and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies.

Requirements:

  1. Proven track record of communications experience, with a focus on digital marketing and communications.
  2. Experience managing web content on Drupal, with a strong understanding of web development principles.
  3. Proven Salesforce and CRM experience, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  4. Excellent written, oral, personal, and digital communications skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences and contexts.
  5. Ability to create clear and effective communication plans, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
