Warehouse Operative Job Description

Menzies Distribution is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team at our Scunthorpe depot. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for providing accurate and prompt picking, packing, and dispatch of warehouse goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete various warehouse tasks, including receiving deliveries, picking and packing orders, and loading trailers with customer goods.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient completion of tasks, upholding the highest standards of health and safety at all times.
  • Participate in housekeeping and hygiene checks to maintain a clean and tidy warehouse environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve agreed turn-round targets and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Valid license for either a Reach or Flexi FLT.
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Good communication and team working skills.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • A professional manner and flexibility.
