Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team at ZIGUP plc. As a key member of our bodyshop, you will be responsible for assessing the extent of damage to vehicles, preparing and maintaining records of estimates, and liaising with insurance companies to obtain authority to repair vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess the extent of damage and costs of repair.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of electronic and manual estimates.
  • Liaise with insurance companies to obtain authority to repair vehicles at estimated costs.
  • Work collaboratively with other colleagues in the bodyshop and across functional areas to achieve team goals.
  • Identify and implement the correct prescribed repair method for damaged vehicles.
Requirements
  • Qualification to NVQ level 3/City & Guilds or ATA qualified with a solid bodyshop background.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
