At THE PIG, we're seeking a highly skilled Fine Wine Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our wine team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional wine service to our guests, pairing wines with our menu to create a truly unforgettable dining experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a deep knowledge of wines, including local and international brands.
  • Collaborate with the team to create wine lists and menus that showcase our expertise.
  • Ensure wine stock is stored correctly, maintaining a clean and organized cellar.
  • Provide exceptional communication and service to guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
  • Participate in wine tastings, team training, and other educational opportunities to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities assigned by our Head Sommelier.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Sommelier or Bartender with a strong knowledge of wine.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for wine.
