About the Role

LTF Recruitment Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN teaching assistant to work with a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a welcoming Primary school in the Canley area.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with ASD, SLCN, and non-verbal communication. They will also possess a strong understanding of the Key Stage Two curriculum and be able to manage challenging behavior.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to a child with ASD in Key Stage Two
  • Assist with lesson planning and implementation
  • Manage challenging behavior and develop strategies to support the child's needs
  • Work collaboratively with the SENCO and teaching staff to ensure the child's progress and well-being
