Director of Finance and Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance and Operations to join our team at Morgan Law. As a key member of our executive team, you will play a significant role in developing and promoting our Trust's strategic direction and future growth.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clear financial and commercial strategy and direction;
- Embed all the relevant business, operational and legislative frameworks, policies and working practices necessary for our Trust to thrive;
- Ensure sound and appropriate financial governance and risk management arrangements are in place;
- Advise our Trust Lead (CEO) and Trust Board on strategic financial information and school leaders on all matters relating to the Trust's resources and assets;
- Be responsible and accountable for the delivery of our financial and other operational support services;
- Provide strategic leadership and management of the Trust's finance and operations teams;
- Keep up to date with all funding and legislative changes that apply to the education sector;
- Provide the Trust board with regular updates pertaining to the responsibilities of the role.
We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA) with a passion for improving the learning and life chances of children and young people in the South Cotswolds. You will bring a determination to be the best we can be every day and a strong ability to inspire confidence and motivate others with strong interpersonal skills and effective team leadership.
