About the Role:
Avara Foods is a UK-based food business that supplies chicken and turkey to major supermarkets and restaurants. They are seeking an IT Service Desk Apprentice to join their internal IT team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with IT support related issues, and performing general duties across the remit of the Service Desk Activities.
The ideal candidate will have good general education, strong numeracy and literacy skills, basic computer literacy, and demonstratable communication skills. Previous customer service experience and knowledge of computer hardware and software are desirable.

Job Description:
You will work as part of a traditional tiered service desk structure designed around the ITIL framework. Your key responsibilities will include answering telephone calls, learning to log and track incoming IT tickets, and assisting users with basic technical inquiries.
Requirements:
- Good general education with strong numeracy and literacy skills
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Windows
- Demonstratable communication skills, both written and verbal
- Problem-solving aptitude and logical thinking
- Genuine interest in technology and IT systems
- Previous customer service experience (desirable)
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and software (desirable)
