Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Computer Science Educator to join our team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching Computer Science and inspiring students to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons to students, utilizing innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Teach students about programming, coding, and other key Computer Science concepts, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the subject.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in Computer Science, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop the Computer Science curriculum, ensuring alignment with educational standards and best practices.
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities related to technology and computing, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
  • PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification (DTLLS or similar).
  • Passion for teaching Computer Science and inspiring students to achieve their goals.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse learning environments.
  • NQTs are welcome and encouraged to apply.
