Join Our Team as a Junior Quantity Surveyor

AVK-SEG Ltd is a leading supplier of innovative power solutions for data centres and the financial sector across the UK and Europe. We are seeking a talented Junior Quantity Surveyor to support our Commercial Team in delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for supporting the Commercial Team with various tasks, including preparing and updating cash flow forecasts, coordinating applications, certifications, and invoices, and assisting with application and variation preparation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and update cash flow forecasts to ensure accurate financial planning.
  • Coordinate applications, certifications, and invoices to ensure timely and efficient processing.
  • Assist with application and variation preparation to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Manage retentions and Sub-Contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Assist with preparing JCRs and supporting Project Managers to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Monitor Supply Chain KPIs and database to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain Commercial Department records and tasks to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Input data for analysis to inform business decisions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • 1-2 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
  • Proficient use of Excel and QS software (Ross 5D) is advantageous.
