We are seeking a skilled Event Management and PR Assistant to join our team at Honda Motor Europe. As a key member of our PR & Events team, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and delivery of our Events & PR Programme.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the preparation of press launches and events, attending and providing support onsite at events, and managing press fleet bookings. You will also be required to monitor media coverage and evaluate its effectiveness, as well as raise purchase orders and update our internal log for all spend across all divisions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supporting the PR & Events team to prepare press launches and events, including partnership activations at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham.
  • Attending and providing support onsite at events.
  • Media monitoring and evaluation.
  • Managing press fleet bookings when the press fleet manager is out of the office.
  • Supporting the PR Managers with press releases and imagery uploads.
  • Checking and updating the press website/press material/media lists.
  • Raising purchase orders and updating our internal log for all spend across all divisions.
  • Attendee management.
  • Venue searching for smaller events.
  • Supplier management with the support of your team.
  • Managing the team's central asset list and ensuring it is up to date.
  • Creating and updating presentations and reports.
  • Team admin and meeting coordination.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in Event Management, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £32,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a company car and opportunities for professional development.
