Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and provide timely, commercial, and quality legal advice to the business on various matters, including insurance distribution agreements, non-disclosure agreements, agency agreements, and client/supplier contracts.
  • Advise business units on UK, EEA, and non-EEA state regulations governing the sale and distribution of general insurance products, with a focus on cross-border deals involving multiple parties and different distribution models.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal developments affecting the business and inform the business accordingly.
  • Manage litigation matters for business units in the UK and Europe, liaising with external legal advisors as necessary.
Requirements
  • Desirable background in travel insurance and/or travel assistance industries.
  • Strong understanding of insurance law and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
