Job Title: Domestic Assistant Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team at Summerhill Services Limited. As a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our designated area/service. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained. Key Responsibilities: * Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the designated area/service * Utilize mechanical and electrical cleaning equipment safely and effectively * Collect and safely remove paper waste within your area/service of work * Provide pantry/kitchen duties, including clearing of the dining area and washing up as required * Provide specialist cleaning (barrier/isolation) as required * Maintain the safe storage and maintenance of appropriate stock and supplies Person Specification: * Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with a range of people including patients and staff * Ability to complete necessary paperwork as instructed to Trust requirements and standards * Ability to follow work schedules with minimal day-to-day supervision after initial training * Ability to use a variety of cleaning machines and move light furniture as part of cleaning duties * Ability to identify most pressing tasks within the scope of normal work schedule and maintain highest levels of cleaning standards at all times Working with Us: At Summerhill Services Limited, we value our employees and strive to create a positive and supportive work environment.
