Pet Food Nutritionist Job Description

Pets Choice Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Animal Nutritionist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing new and existing nutritionally balanced pet food products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our products are nutritionally complete, appealing, and safe for pets.
  • Create technical dossiers to support marketing claims and conduct research on pet nutritional and health trends.
  • Manage nutritional testing and recipe modifications to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Provide insight on innovative ingredients and formulate recipes for new product development.
  • Support the creation of social media and communications guidelines and provide training for staff and trade customers.
  • Assist with quality control queries and provide nutritional support to consumers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Nutrition.
  • Proven track record of developing and launching successful pet food products.
  • Deep understanding of animal physiology, nutritional needs, and ingredient functionalities.
