Assistant Maintenance Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to join our team at Doubletree by Hilton Coventry. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deputise for the Maintenance Manager in their absence
  • Recruit, train, and develop the Maintenance team
  • Oversee maintenance issues within the hotel
  • Perform daily checks around the hotel
  • Conduct lift emergency release procedures as required
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment
  • Maintain hotel fixtures and fittings to ensure safety
  • Develop and implement emergency programs
  • Manage energy conservation programs to minimize expenses
  • Coordinate renovation projects and oversee contractors
  • Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
  • Ensure the health and safety of the hotel
