Financial Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our client's team as a Financial Reporting Specialist. This is a long-term contract position, initially 12 months, with the potential to extend beyond.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have experience in general ledger management, invoicing, and accounts payable processes. They will also be proficient in Excel, with expertise in pivot tables, VLookups, and formulas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of prepayments and accruals
- Month-end routine processes and general ledger reporting
- Sarbanes Oxley controls and collaborating with cross-functional partners on budget management
- Accounts Receivable entries and invoicing
- AP structure and strong Excel skills
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a commercial environment, with CIMA/ACCA qualifications or studying towards them. They will also have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary:
The client offers a competitive pay rate, with £25.50-£26.00ph (FCSA Umbrella Company) or £18.75-£19.25ph PAYE.
