Venatu Recruitment Group is partnering with a reputable East Yorkshire client to find a skilled Commercial Controller to join their team. The company is a well-established Modular manufacturer with a significant Hire Division, expanding its presence in the UK market.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Commercial Controller to manage contracts from end to end and oversee the commercial control of rental department contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue regular account development reviews to clients and update the project management system with revenue and costs to manage the project outturn.
- Project reports and applications for payment with necessary client approval, including sub-contract.
- Final accounts reconciliation, to be settled within two months of the project's completion.
- Liaising with Managers and clients to review progress, resolve problems, and attend site visits.
- Manage financial aspects and outturn of projects, including application and certification processes.
- Authorisation of purchase orders and managing variation processes with contractors, clients, or customers.
- Managing cash collection processes and reviewing pricing documents for projects, as well as contract reviews for projects, including JCT and NEC.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem-solving skills and experience in commercial contract review and financial project management.
- PC literate, with intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- GCSE Maths and English Level 4 (c) or above.
- Commercial experience, industry knowledge, and/or QS experience.
Industry Knowledge: Previous experience of working in the Plant Hire or modular building industry is desirable.
