We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Postperson with Driving to join our team at Royal Mail. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to our customers across Reading and surrounding areas.

About the Role

This is a permanent contract position, working 30 hours per week, 5 days a week, with a mix of morning and afternoon shifts. You will be required to work Saturdays and Sundays, and may be eligible for a Welcome Bonus of up to £1,500.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • To be upbeat, independent, and self-motivated
  • To be organised, punctual, and ready to deliver great customer service
  • To think of yourself as a people-person and a friendly face in the community
  • To be happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather
  • To have a strong sense of community and take pride in what you do
  • To have a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
