Job Summary

This role involves working as a Pharmacy Dispenser to support the supply of CMBP in a specialist Private pharmacy. The successful candidate will work alongside Clinical Pharmacists to make CMBP more accessible to patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and validating prescriptions for clinical review.
  • Processing patient information accurately and efficiently.
  • Supporting the Responsible Pharmacist and Technicians in daily operations.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for Pharmacy queries.
  • Maintaining relevant records for CMBP supply.
  • Ensuring the security and inventory management of CMBP on site.
  • Maintaining communication with the Department of Health to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting governance in the Pharmacy to ensure safe operation.

Requirements:

  • A UK-qualified Pharmacy Dispenser.
  • Ideally, completion of a CPD-accredited medical cannabis educational program (training provided for the successful candidate).
  • A self-motivated individual with high attention to detail, accuracy, and error detection skills.
  • Experience working in a pharmacy dispensary environment (primary and/or secondary settings).
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with staff, patients, and healthcare professionals.
  • A professional, ethical approach with a commitment to excellent customer care.
  • Excellent computer literacy with proficiency in office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Estimated Salary: £26,000 per annum. Location: Winnersh, Reading. Reporting to: UK Pharmacy Director.
