About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to join the British Museum as a Conservation Management Lead. As a key member of the Conservation Team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to preserve and conserve the Museum's vast collection.

Your responsibilities will include managing and delivering the operational plan of the Preventive section, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to the generation of income through international loans and consultancy. You will also recruit, lead, manage, mentor, and motivate a team of staff with expertise in preventive conservation.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in preventive conservation, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment. A competitive salary of £46,926 per annum and a comprehensive benefits package await the successful candidate.
