Senior Livestock Production Manager

At Cranswick Country Foods PLC, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Pig Farm Manager to lead our brand-new breeding unit in the Norfolk area.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring high livestock standards, and actively contributing to all areas of the pig breeding unit to meet business requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing staff performance, liaising with managers, and reporting targets to maintain commercial focus.
- Ensuring the condition of livestock is maintained at a high standard, feeding, moving, and handling pigs, as well as conducting stock counts and regular communication with the office and senior managers.
Requirements include:
- A reliable and flexible individual with good time-keeping skills and the ability to lead by example.
- A strong focus on animal welfare, adhering to company codes of practice and policies.
- Previous practical experience with livestock and previous managerial experience is desirable.

This role requires a 45-hour workweek, with alternate weekend work, and a shift pattern of Monday to Friday.
