Culinary Expert

We are seeking an experienced Culinary Expert to join our team at B&I. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.

This is a part-time position contracted to 21 hours per week with flexible shift patterns including 4 on 4 off. Our ideal candidate will be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Preparing Delicious Food: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to the highest standards, using fresh ingredients and presenting meals in an attractive way.
• Menu Planning: Work with the management team to plan and implement new menus, taking into account seasonal changes and client preferences.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, responding to their needs and ensuring that they are satisfied with the food we provide.

• Culinary Qualifications: Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent qualification in cooking or a related field.
• Experience: Have experience working in a similar role, preferably in a business and industry (B&I) setting.
• Flexibility: Be flexible and able to adapt to changing situations, including working varied shifts and being on call.

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including life insurance and pension scheme.
