Senior Noise Engineer and Project Manager

Cambium Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Noise Engineer and Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our acoustic engineering group, you will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, collaborating with other project managers, and performing field noise and vibration measurements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage acoustics projects, including small to large-scale projects, from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with other project managers to manage acoustic scope and deliverables on multi-discipline projects.
  • Perform and supervise field noise and vibration measurements.
  • Post-process and analyze measurements using software modules and other tools.
  • Model sound propagation using specialized acoustical software.
  • Manage financial activities associated with ongoing projects, including issuing invoices and tracking revenues.
  • Work to standardize methods for data collection and analysis to build in efficiencies.
  • Participate in the training, mentoring, and coaching of junior staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience in acoustical engineering, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Working knowledge of noise prediction software and other supporting software.
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
  • Proven ability to act as the technical liaison between internal project teams, external clients, and regulators.
  • Creative, organized, and able to multi-task while working independently.
  • Willingness for occasional travel within Canada.
  • Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.
