Job Description:

We are seeking a Telecoms Specialist to join our NOC team in Wokingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the strategic network and ensuring seamless service handover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support rapid restoration of network faults within SLA and proactively identify issues before they impact critical services.
  • Take overall responsibility for technical support and issue resolution within the network environment.
  • Investigate network problems using proactive tools and escalate incidents according to Operational Procedures.
  • Build trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders and contribute to our continuous business improvement programme.
  • Other duties as required to ensure operational targets are met.

Requirements:

  • Capable of working at 2nd line support level on PDH, SDH & Radio Communications environments.
  • Understanding of network management and use of Network Management Platform tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work closely with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
  • Good knowledge of SLAs and reporting, experience in working under pressure, and meeting fixed deadlines.
  • Highly numerate and literate, with excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Estimated salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
