Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Quarry Supervisor to join our team at the Breedon Group. This role is responsible for supporting the Quarry Manager in the safe and efficient management of the quarry, ensuring production and extraction activities run smoothly.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to take on a leadership position within our organization. As Quarry Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Safety: Conducting risk assessments, health and safety inspections, and demonstrating leadership in safety.
  • Operations: Managing production and extraction activities, troubleshooting technical problems, and overseeing planning and coordination with other departments.
  • Administration: Writing reports, updating records, and reviewing and updating the electronic defect database.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Mobile/Static plant operation experience, including Red/Blue card in wheeled loading shovel operation.
  • Problem analysis skills, including identifying problems, seeking data, and recognizing important information.
  • Compliance with company policy and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with awareness of others and their environment.
  • Ability to handle details and paperwork associated with the job.
  • Planning and organizing skills, including establishing courses of action for self and others.
  • High professional work standards consistently.
