Machine Operator

BlueGate Consulting Ltd is seeking a skilled Machine Setter to join their team in High Wycombe, Bucks.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and maintaining packing machines/lines for specific tasks and maximum efficiency against stated target output, working on multiple lines and products, where no two days are the same.
This role requires a self-motivated and driven individual capable of working on their initiative with minimal supervision. The Machine Setter is responsible for ensuring the smooth and speedy transition of orders and maintaining an accurate product and quality before and after the machine and product are set and confirmed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete tool changes and set-up on time.
- Optimise cycle speeds ensuring quality specification is achieved.
- Diagnose and correct running faults promptly.
- Maintenance and general upkeep of the machines.
- Assist the QC/QA Team in identifying issues and suggest corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Relevant City and Guilds or, a mechanical aptitude, or relevant engineering experience.
- Machine setting
- Machine repairs
- Quality inspection
- Ability to work on time, to completion, and working to deadlines
- Experience in working towards targets / KPIs.
