About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Commissioning Technician to join our team at Hinkley Point C. As an Electrical Commissioning Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and successful commissioning of electrical systems at our nuclear power station.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with commissioning engineers to ensure successful test execution and support test team leaders in delivering commissioning tests to plan.
  • Execute testing activities, including working with other disciplines as part of multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure all activities are carried out with full regard to site license requirements, statutory regulations, company and local directives, procedures, and safety rules.
Requirements

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a strong focus on safety, educated to ONC level in an electrical engineering subject (or equivalent experience) and a trade apprenticeship to demonstrate practical experience.

You should be an organised and self-motivated individual, with a positive attitude and be able to contribute to a journey to excellence. You'll need drive, a sense of ownership and a 'can do' attitude. You will be required to demonstrate the highest standards of nuclear professionalism and safety.
