Project Manager - Facilities Management

Carbon 60, a leading National player in the Facilities Management world, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team. This is an outstanding opportunity to become part of a truly first-rate facilities management organization and play an integral role in delivering multiple projects related to new works within allocated budgets and defined programme.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Appoint and manage specialist contractors for the SOR's.
  • Work with the SPM & site supervisors to ensure the works are on target and to update programs and weekly project reports for the client.
  • Manage projects from input to design specification, tender, installation to commissioning, practical completion, handover and invoicing.
  • Co-ordinate the procurement and resource planning within the requirements of the contract needs.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients, colleagues, subcontractors and suppliers.

The Ideal Candidate:

  1. Proven and extensive experience within a Project management role in the Facilities Management/Building Services Industry.
  2. Technical expertise, qualifications or apprenticeship in a craft skill or engineering discipline would be an important pre-requisite of the role.
  3. Proven track record to the successful delivery of multi-task building, electrical and mechanical services related projects.
  4. Ability to liaise with and supervise contractors.
  5. IT skills required with specific reference to the Microsoft suite of packages.
  6. To be able to use Microsoft Project to basic standard as a minimum.
  7. Hold sufficient Health and Safety (CDM) experience that allows the effective running of projects.
  8. Preferably to hold SMSTS, SSSTS or IOSH.

  • Salary: 56,860 inclusive of car allowance, plus excellent benefits.

  • Hours of work: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
