Head of Music Department

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Music Education Professional to join our team as Head of Music Department. As a key member of our academic leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our music curriculum, ensuring that our students receive a high-quality education in music.
Key Responsibilities- Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum that aligns with our school's academic goals and objectives.
- Teacher Support and Development: Provide guidance and support to music teachers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality music education.
- Student Outcomes: Work with teachers to monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to enhance student outcomes.
- Department Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the music department, including budgeting, resource allocation, and staff management.
- Community Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with local music organizations and communities to provide opportunities for students to engage with music outside of the classroom.
- Qualifications: QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree in music education or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in music education, including curriculum development, teacher support, and department management.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, students, and external partners.
