We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Geo-Environmental Specialist to join our team at AtkinsRéalis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering projects related to contaminated land, hydrogeology, and brownfield redevelopment. This will involve working on local and national projects across a range of markets, including cities, transportation, and energy infrastructure.

  • Developing conceptual site models and undertaking qualitative and quantitative risk assessments.
  • Designing Phase 2 site investigations, supervising and undertaking environmental and geo-environmental site investigations, and monitoring.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Preparing relevant Environmental Impact Assessment chapters.
  • Managing own work and supporting senior management to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, and to quality and client expectations.

The ideal candidate will have a higher education qualification in a relevant engineering or science subject and experience in working with geospatial data. They will also have a strong understanding of environmental and geo-environmental principles and practices.
