About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work with a specialist Ecological consultancy as a Home-based Ecologist. The company focuses on sustainable growth and offers services within the ecology, arboriculture, and landscape sectors. They have long-term relationships with leading developer and infrastructure providers in the UK.

A key aspect of this role is delivering protected species surveys and assisting with all aspects of survey work from project inception to completion of reports. You will be responsible for managing various projects, ranging from small-scale developments to more complex projects. Your experience in performing a range of ecological surveys within a consultancy is essential, as well as your ability to write ecological reports to a high standard.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ecological principles and practices. You should be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, both verbally and in writing.
