About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Electromechanical & Brazing Fitter to join our team at Veolia. As an Electro Mechanical Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing control systems, electrical plant, and overseeing suppliers to ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain, install, and repair control systems.
- Inspect and maintain electrical plant.
- Oversee suppliers to ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards.
- A recognized Engineering Apprenticeship.
- Qualified with at least ONC or equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Detailed knowledge of Electro-mechanical systems maintenance techniques.
- Good understanding of PLC & SCADA/DCS architecture and control systems.
- Understanding of Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) and environmental legislation.
- Capable of manual handling, working in confined spaces, and at heights.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, with on-call availability.
- Computer literate, adaptable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a team with minimal supervision.
