Step Teachers is seeking an experienced educator to teach Textiles at a high-achieving all-girls school. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the Visual Arts and Design Technology Curriculum Area, with a focus on KS3 Design Technology, DT Textiles GCSE, Fashion and Textiles GCSE, and A-Level.

  • A good relevant degree and QTS qualified in DT/Textiles by start date are essential.
  • Strong subject knowledge and experience in teaching Design Technology at KS3 and GCSE levels are required.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to motivate and inspire students to love Design Technology and Art.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills are necessary.

This part-time role offers a competitive daily rate of £198.80-£257.89, with a January 2025 start and up to 1 year maternity cover.
