Seeking a highly motivated and experienced CEO / General Manager to lead our organisation in the finance and lending industry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and strategic thinker to join a well-established not-for-profit financial institution and contribute to its growth and success.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of organisational finances and experience in a similar-sized organisation, preferably in the finance, lending, banking, or related industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing senior staff, reporting to the board, and overseeing finances and statements.

The role will involve all aspects of management, from forecasting and budgeting to decision-making and strategic direction.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead and grow an ethical, not-for-profit organisation that gives back to the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Line manage senior staff
  2. Deal with member complaints
  3. Report and attend board meetings
  4. Budget, forecast, and determine the direction of the organisation
  5. Manage community development projects
  6. Review, audit, and revamp policies, procedures, and systems
  7. Oversee finances and statements

Requirements:

  1. CEO, General Manager, or Operations Manager experience in a similar-sized organisation
  2. Experience in at least one of the following: finance, lending, banking, or a related industry
  3. Solid understanding of finances and financial position
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  5. Great interpersonal skills, empathy, and leadership skills
  • Line management experience
  • Not-for-profit/charity experience
  • Experience reporting to a board of directors
