Theatre Nurse Educator and Development Manager

Forte Health is committed to providing quality care to patients, and we are seeking a Theatre Nurse Educator and Development Manager to join our team. This role will play a critical part in the planning of our hospital extension and the development of our current team.
About the Role
This role combines education and theatre nursing, requiring you to work closely with our Quality and Theatre teams. You will be responsible for developing and implementing theatre team professional development programs, supporting graduate theatre nurses, and providing guidance to new-to-NZ nurses. With a focus on education and development, this role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow their career in theatre nursing.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need strong communication skills, empathy for others, and the ability to make things happen. You should also have a solid understanding of private hospital nuances, be comfortable with change, and see yourself as a lifelong learner. Additionally, you will require current theatre experience and possibly some adult education training or Post Graduate papers.
Benefits and Salary
The estimated salary for this role is $NZD 100,000 - $130,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. We offer five weeks annual leave, holidays over Christmas/New Year, commitment to ongoing professional development and PDRP programme, staff morning tea and lunches provided daily, transport subsidy, long service leave every five years, subsidised on-site car parking, and a choice of health subsidies.
