About the Role
The University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vascular Surgeon to join our team. As a Consultant in Vascular Surgery, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of vascular and endovascular operations and procedures.
Main Responsibilities
Our Vascular Unit is a tertiary centre performing all types of major vascular and endovascular operations and procedures. You will work closely with our team of Vascular Technologists, who provide a full range of duplex services, including carotid duplex, aortic scanning, and vein mapping for surgery.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Accreditation in the specialty of vascular surgery
- Completed appropriate training
- Experience in performing complex aortic surgery, carotid surgery, and upper and lower limb bypass
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
