Manufacturing Operative

The role of Multi Skilled Operative involves contributing to a key team producing dry aggregates material for the construction industry. Key responsibilities include working with aggregates on site, operating machinery, and ensuring day to day maintenance of the plant. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar aggregates environment, with knowledge of the industry, plant operations, and quarrying. Key Responsibilities:

• Working with aggregates on site and operating machinery
• Day to day maintenance of the plant and housekeeping
• Training and operation on static plant operations to drive plant optimisation
• Ensuring customers receive good quality material and on-time deliveries
• Maximising plant availability

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar aggregates environment or an industrial or factory environment
• Knowledge of the industry, plant operations, and quarrying
• Previous experience in mobile plant operations, preferably using loading shovel, excavator, and mobile crusher
• Flexibility and ability to work as part of an effective multi-skilled operative team
• Knowledge of risk assessments and SSOW (HIRA) and permit systems
• Compliance with company policies, targets, goals, and standards
