Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Podiatrist to join our team at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. As an Apprentice Podiatrist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality podiatric interventions to patients across the region.

About the Role:

  • Deliver podiatric interventions to a caseload of patients using remote and face-to-face delivery methods.
  • Provide clinical training to students, apprentices, and other Podiatry colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate written records and statistics to ensure that service user details and care given are recorded in line with Trust policies.
  • Participate in Clinical Professional Development and other developmental activities.
  • Contribute to regular supervision sessions with peers and identified others.

Requirements:

  • Recognised Diploma/Degree in Podiatric Medicine.
  • Certificate in Local analgesia.
  • Evidence of competence and post-qualifying experience within Podiatry, managing complex caseloads.
  • Experience in all aspects of Podiatry, including MSK, core DOMS, wound care, and nail surgery.
  • Evidence of working as an autonomous practitioner without direct supervision.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is £42,000 - £60,000 based on location and qualifications. Our trust offers a comprehensive benefits package, including access to professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
