Job Description

Pertemps Network Group is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team at GXO in Newark. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting electrical goods to Curry's stores or warehouses/RDCs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport electrical goods to Curry's stores or warehouses/RDCs
  • Work day shifts, Monday to Friday, with the option to work Sunday to Thursday or Wednesday to Saturday
  • Choose your start time window (pick anytime from 04:00 - 10:00)
  • Pass a Class 1 site assessment/induction, which includes a multiple choice questionnaire, pre-checks, driving assessment, and site induction

  • Excellent pay rates: £18.19ph, £20.23ph on Saturday, and £21.25ph on Sunday
  • Paid holidays: 28 days per year for full-time work

Requirements:
  • Category C+E (HGV 1) license held for at least two years
  • Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification
  • Clean driving record: no DR10, CD10, IN10, and no more than 6 points on your license
  • Aged 21 or above

This is an ongoing HGV Driver role that will be of interest to people from various backgrounds, including C+E Drivers, Class 1 Drivers, Class One Driver, HGV Drivers, LGV Driver, HGV 1 Driver, and Lorry Driver.
