Conflicts Analyst Job Description

Bell Cornwall Recruitment is seeking a skilled Conflicts Analyst to join our team in Birmingham. As a Conflicts Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of our clients' data and identifying potential conflicts of interest.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough conflict searches for existing and new clients, adhering to our firm's system and protocols.
  • Review conflict information submitted by businesses, identifying accuracy and potential issues, and taking corrective action as needed.
  • Liaise with lawyers and PAs to identify potential conflicts of interest and escalate them accordingly.
  • Prepare comprehensive conflict analyses for the Conflicts Investigation Team, highlighting key issues and recommended courses of action.
  • Implement barriers where necessary to prevent conflicts of interest.
  • Develop strong relationships with fee earners and PAs/Secretaries to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Handle enquiries and provide general administrative support as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in conflicts analysis is essential.
  • A background in law, financial services, banking, or professional services is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve conflicts effectively and efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and general IT, with excellent email and internet knowledge.
  • Confidence in decision-making and the ability to take on queries and issues.
