About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled PSV Engineer to join our team at Arriva, responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of buses. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital part in ensuring our vehicles are safe, reliable, and meet the high standards of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on our fleet of buses, including diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs.
  • Work closely with our team to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Collaborate with our training department to develop and implement training programs for team members, promoting career advancement and skill development.
  • Contribute to the development of our maintenance procedures and processes, ensuring they are aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical faults on PSV/HGV fleet.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturer-specific systems, including Volvo, ADL, Wrightbus, Scania, and others.
  • Minimum of a NVQ Level 3 in PSV/HGV repair and maintenance (or equivalent).
  • Valid driving license with 6 points or less, and a PSV license (training provided if required).
