About the Role

Cranbrook is a large 4-form entry mainstream school with a 39-place Nursery serving a diverse local community.

We have two additional resource provisions – one for social and communication needs and the other for behaviour support.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children with complex needs and autism in a mainstream school setting
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualised learning plans
  • Assist with the delivery of educational programs and activities
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children as needed
Requirements

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual who is passionate about children's educational and social development.

Applicants should have experience working with children with complex needs and autism.

A strong understanding of child development and learning theories is essential.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

A willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team is essential.
