Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Little Stars Day Nursery and Preschool in Harwell. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and reflecting on engaging activities tailored to each child's needs, promoting their development towards key milestones.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of all children
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and needs
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve outstanding results and continuous improvement
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working with children, ideally in a nursery setting
  • A passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Our estimated salary for this role is £34,000-£39,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are a motivated and caring individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and education to young children, we would love to hear from you
