About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Senior Reporting Analyst to join our dynamic MIS team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing a range of reports using SQL Management Studio and SQL Server Reporting Services to meet the college's internal and external reporting requirements.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence, with experience in reporting business intelligence for stakeholders. You will be expected to develop self-service reports, extracting data from various college databases using T-SQL.


Key Responsibilities


* Develop and maintain a range of reports using SQL Management Studio and SQL Server Reporting Services.* Extract data from college databases using T-SQL.* Provide timely and accurate management information to support the college's decision-making process.* Collaborate with the Head of MIS and Funding to ensure the effective implementation of reporting solutions.* Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed.


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Mathematics.
  • Proven experience in business intelligence, including reporting and data analysis.
  • Strong skills in SQL, particularly T-SQL.
  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Management Studio.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with college databases and systems.
