Role Summary

We are seeking a fibre optic engineer to join our team and work alongside experienced professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining fibre optic cables, participating in site-based training, and attending block release training at our centre in Kendal.

Responsibilities and Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Installing and maintaining fibre optic cables
• Participating in site-based training with experienced fibre optic engineers
• Attending block release training at our centre in Kendal to obtain relevant certifications

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have practical technical skills, be able to read plans and diagrams accurately, and measure distances correctly. You will also undergo training in optical fibre, copper cabling, and laser safety.

Salary and Benefits

The starting rate for this position is £9 per hour, with incremental increases as each stage of training is completed. We also offer a supportive learning environment, allowing you to develop your skills and expertise.
