Student Support Assistant Role
GSL Education - Yorkshire is currently seeking a highly skilled Student Support Assistant to join their team. As a Student Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students and staff at our partner schools, contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to maintain a positive learning environment, managing classroom behaviour, and providing support to teachers and other staff members. They will also be expected to contribute to the overall success of the school by assisting with administrative tasks and communicating effectively with parents and carers.

Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, applicants must have a strong passion for education and student support, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They must also hold an enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service and have a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures. A minimum of 2 years' experience working with secondary school children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.

Salary and Benefits
This role comes with a competitive salary of approximately £22,500 per annum, commensurate with experience. Successful applicants will also receive enhanced benefits, including professional development opportunities and a supportive working environment.
